Program Description

Program operates from a harm reduction perspective focused on enhancing quality of life and independence. Care plans are individualized and may include a combination of counselling, case management, and family support. Frequency and length of sessions depends on the client's needs.

Access Information

Appropriate portions of the MOHLTC-approved standardized assessments are administered through this program in addition to gambling specific assessment tools. A comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment provided in house. The older persons (55+) program is designed for clients who are experiencing multiple and complex concerns related to their problem gambling; or are unable to access, or are inappropriate for other problem gambling related care. Services are provided in client's home environment if needed.
